GUMMYSEARCH TRANSITION GUIDE
GummySearch stopped accepting new signups, purchases and renewals after November 30, 2025. Its official notice says existing paid customers may retain access through their current billing period, with complete shutdown scheduled for December 1, 2026. Timory takes a different route: it accumulates source-linked evidence across several public communities, applies published scoring rules and records how a dossier changes over time.

| Research need | Documented GummySearch workflow | Timory workflow |
|---|---|---|
| Find relevant conversations | Built a Reddit audience, browsed customer-discovery themes and searched or tracked keywords. | Browse a public cross-source dossier ledger. Custom direction monitoring is planned for seed access and is not self-serve today. |
| Understand recurring pain | Grouped pain, anger, solution-request and related customer-discovery conversations. | Group qualifying signals into one evolving dossier, discount repeated authors and separate first-hand evidence from promotion. |
| Judge evidence strength | Let researchers use the source conversations and research workflow to form their own judgement. | Inspect a deterministic six-factor confidence score, status thresholds, source links and public quality audits. |
| Keep monitoring | Used keyword tracking and saved audience research while account access remained available. | Follow weekly dossier changes now; niche-specific alerts remain a planned seed-access feature. |
LOW-RISK TRANSITION
Download the data you can still access
If your GummySearch account still has access, follow its official closure notice and export the research you need before that access ends.
Preserve your research vocabulary
List the customer terms, product names, alternatives and communities you monitored. Keep this as your own source-of-truth document.
Map themes to public dossiers
Use Timory's public ledger to see which themes already have recurring, source-linked evidence across multiple source families.
Subscribe before changing workflows
Use the weekly brief to evaluate whether the change record is useful. Do not adopt a new workflow until the evidence format proves its value for your team.
